Download Firmware ECS L7S7A2 06/19/2003

Elitegroup Computer Systems (ECS) has released a new BIOS for its L7S7A2 motherboard, which has been given the simple version number 06/19/2003. The changes in the new version are not very shocking:

1.Modify to pass WHQL test[break]There are already a number of L7S7A2 owners who have tried the new BIOS, opinions are divided. People are mostly positive on GoT, but on the forum from OCworkbench one Tim B writes the following:[/break]1. No PCI/AGP setting
2. Bios FSB now 100-200 cant remember what it was in the last official
3. at 200/200 still no complete boot into xp so still need the PCI/AGP lock to set it to higher than 33/66
4. Memory performance still at low ~72%usage as per other recent official bios
5. Added cpu frequency setting, set as manual and unchangeable – maybe due to multi jumper configuration[break]If you also want to try the new BIOS then you have to be here.
