Smartphone leaker EvLeaks has put the presumably official renders of the ASUS ROG Phone 6 online. A relatively large external accessory can also be seen, containing a fan, RGB lighting and shoulder buttons. The phone was supposed to be released on July 5.
The latest Android device in the Republic of Gamer series from ASUS will get a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 soc and a 6.8 “amoled screen with a 165Hz refresh rate. The device will also be equipped with up to 18GB of Lpddr5 memory. , a 5850mAh battery and 65W fast charging.
The specifications were released earlier this week via testing agency TENAA. It contains a fan that should keep the phone cool during heavy use. Also visible are L and R buttons, which can be used as shoulder buttons while gaming.
According to EvLeaks, ASUS will release the ROG Phone 6 on July 5. It is not yet known what the device and accessory will cost. The ROG Phone 5s came out at the end of last year for 999 euros, along with a 1299 euros Pro variant.
