Download Driver For nVidia nForce chipset 2.42

nVidia, besides a video card producer also maker of the popular nForce chipset, has released a new package of drivers for the motherboard chips just mentioned. The package provides you with all the drivers necessary for the features built into the chipset related to audio, networking, display adapters and memory to work properly. The new release, 2.42, is only suitable for Windows 2k and XP. The changelog for both downloads looks like this:

• May 22 update: removed nForce IDE driver in the 2.42 kit
• WHQL certified kit for nForce and nForce2
• Includes support for nForce2 400 and nForce2 Ultra 400
• Update audio performance fixes for EAX supported games
• Update audio control panel
