Developer Eric Barone, also known as ConcernedApe, has shared more details about a major upcoming update for indie game Stardew Valley. This should update the game to version 1.6 and adds new missions and late-game content.

In July, Barone already reported that Stardew Valley would receive a major update, but did not yet say exactly what the update will add to the game. Thursday has the developer shared a list with all the new content Stardew Valley will be getting after the update rolls out. For example, version 1.6 includes a new festival, two smaller events, new items, more than a hundred new lines of dialogue, winter clothing for the characters and a new type of farm.

It is not yet known when the update will be released. Barone is also working on a new game called Haunted Chocolatier. No release date has been announced yet. ConcernedApe stated in April to temporarily halt the development of that gameso he can continue working on the 1.6 update for Stardew Valley.

Stardew Valley originally released in 2016 for PC. The Harvest Moon-inspired country life RPG had sold more than two million copies after two months. Over the years it was also released for previous and current generation consoles, iOS and Android. Last year, according to Barone, the game sold more than 20 million times.
