Multiple board games have added support for Google’s Chromecast streaming dongle. Players can use their phone or tablet to play with, while an overview is shown on the TV.
These include the games Wheel of Fortune, Monopoly Dash, Scrabble Blitz, Just Dance Now and Emoji Party, according to Google’s announcement.
Players can use their phone to log into the game. In addition, they have to use their telephone to operate the game, for example to answer questions, while an overview view is shown on the TV screen.
It has been technically possible to show games on the Chromecast for some time, but until now it was mainly about simple board games.
