Apple is going to give its Apple Maps map service in Europe a major makeover with more details and functions this year. Sometime in the coming months, the manufacturer will start with the adjustments, after they have been implemented in the US.

Apple reports the arrival of the new design of Apple Maps in the United States and states that Europe will follow in the coming months. In addition to detailed maps with more precise addresses, after the update, the service includes Look Around, a kind of Street View with panoramic photos of streets. In the US, this feature is currently available in a few cities, including San Francisco, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles.

Also new is Collections, which allows users to create lists of favorite places such as restaurants and share them with others. Furthermore, users can create favorite locations where they are often, so that they appear on the screen with a single tap. It is not yet known which countries in Europe will receive the changed Maps first.
