Apple Music app coming to LG TVs with webOS 4.0 or later

Apple Music has appeared in the LG Content Store for smart TVs with webOS 4.0 or later. Subscribers of the music streaming service can thus play the range of music and music videos via their TV. Lyrics can also be displayed on TV.

LG’s webOS 4.0 was released in 2018 and is available on, among other things, all OLED TVs from the C8 series. TVs with newer versions of the operating system can also use the Apple Music app. The app was already available for Samsung smart TVs.

LG TV users can find the Apple Music app in the LG Content Store. You must then log in with an Apple ID to use the service. In addition to audio, Apple Music also contains music videos in 4k resolution and according to LG it is possible to display lyrics of millions of songs on TVs. The Apple TV app for streaming service Apple TV+ has been available on LG TVs since last year.
