A new Dragon Ball game, Dragon Ball Project Z, is in the works for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam. Bandai Namco has not yet announced a concrete release date, but does report that the game will be released later this year.
Bandai Namco has the announcement trailer for Project Z via his Twitter page. The game follows the storyline of Dragon Ball Z, which is the sequel to the first Dragon Ball anime and the last 325 chapters of the original manga series. CyberConnect2, the developer behind the Naruto Shippuden games, created the RPG.
The last game based on the series, Dragon Ball FighterZ, was released on January 26, 2018 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows. A Nintendo Switch version was released in September.
