Microsoft will start selling the Xbox One S bundles with 500GB and 1TB storage on August 23 in the US and Canada. The presale starts Tuesday. The first bundles of the new console include Madden NFL 17 and a Halo collection.

The Madden NFL 17 bundle will only be available in the US and Canada, with five Halo games additionally available in Australia and New Zealand. With which games the Xbox One S will be bundled in Europe is not yet known and it is also not clear whether the console will also appear here on August 23. Next month, Microsoft will announce more about the release in other markets. In the US, the 1TB version will be limited, as will the 2TB version that comes out on August 2.

The 500GB model of the Xbox One S will cost 299 euros, the 1TB version 349 euros and the 2TB variant 399 euros. The Xbox One S is 40 percent smaller than the current version, has a built-in power supply and comes with a stand to place the device vertically. The Xbox One S supports the playback of 4K videos and HDR material, partly due to the integration of a UHD Blu-ray player. Microsoft will supply the console with an improved wireless controller that would offer more grip and a longer range than the current one.
