Tyan has released a new version of the System Monitor program. In this release some motherboards have been added that are supported. Unfortunately, TSM only works on Windows 2000 and XP. The changelog looks like this:

Please only use the software on the boards supported (see “Boards Supported” column), and follow the specific instructions included with the software.

Production and Beta versions of Tyan’s System Monitor Software have been put through rigorous testing in our own compatibility lab. We make no guarantees as to its functionality, and no warranty is implied. Users may install and use the software at their own risk. No end user support will be provided.

If you encounter”
Run-time Error 13: Type mismatch”, you may do one of follows:
1) Update your VB Script Engine:
1) http://www.microsoft.com/msdownload/vbscript/scripting.asp
2) Or, change the decimal separator to “.” instead of “,” under
2) your regional settings. (This is only a temporary solution.)

If you encounter a detection problem on a S246x motherboard, make sure you upgrade to the latest
BIOS with the parameter “/mode=3” using the file named phlash16.exe. Please refer to How to Flash the BIOS page for flash details.
