Xiaomi will sell the recently announced Redmi 9A and Redmi 9C in the Benelux for 99 euros and 119 euros respectively. Both phones have a 6.53 “screen and a 5000mAh battery capacity. The more expensive 9C gets two extra rear cameras and a faster soc.
The Redmi 9A has a MediaTek Helio G25-soc with a maximum clock speed of 2.0GHz, 2GB memory and 32GB storage. The 6.53 ”LCD has a maximum brightness of 400cd / m2, a resolution of 1600×720 pixels and a contrast of 1500: 1. processed.
With the Redmi 9C, consumers can choose between a version with 2GB memory and 32GB storage, or a version with 3GB memory and 64GB storage. The Redmi 9C also gets the MediaTek Helio G35-soc with a maximum clock speed of 2.3 GHz and two extra camera sensors on the back of the phone. This is a 2-megapixel camera for macro shots and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The Redmi 9C will also receive support for nfc. The screen of the 9C is the same as that of the Redmi 9A.
In terms of size, both phones are 165x77x9mm in size. The 9A weighs 194 grams, the 9C is 2 grams heavier. Both phones can handle a maximum of 10W fast charging and are supplied with such a charger. Both the 9A and the 9C have a micro USB connection and a 3.5 mm connection. The phones run on Android 10 with the Miui 12 skin and support a micro-SD card up to 512GB.
Xiaomi announced the two phones in Malaysia at the end of last month. The devices fall in the same series as the Redmi 9, only the Redmi 9 is slightly more expensive and has better specifications. The Redmi 9A is going to sell Xiaomi in the colors gray, green and blue for 99 euros. The Redmi 9C will be for sale in gray, orange and blue for 119 euros. Those who want the 9C with more memory and storage will pay 139 euros. Xiaomi has not yet communicated release dates for the two phones.
