Tech website WinFuture has obtained specifications of the unannounced Microsoft Surface Go 3. According to that website, the device will again have a 10.5 “screen and will be equipped with Intel Amber Lake CPUs.

According to WinFuture, the Surface Go 3’s 10.5-inch display will have a full-HD resolution, just like its predecessor. The design of the device would also remain unchanged, making it a compact, tablet-like laptop with a fold-out stand and a magnesium alloy housing.

The German tech website also writes that the Surface Go 3 models will be equipped with Intel CPUs from the Amber Lake series. This concerns a basic model with a Pentium Gold 6500Y chip, and a higher positioned variant with Intel Core i3-10100Y quad-core.

The Pentium variant has two cores, which run at 1.1GHz with a boost clock of 3.4GHz. The base model also has 4GB of memory. The Core i3 variant has four cores at 1.3GHz, with a turbo frequency of up to 3.9GHz. This version comes with 8GB of memory. This is in line with previous rumors about the Surface Go 3.

Microsoft is expected to unveil the Surface Go 3 at its Surface event on September 22. A Surface Duo 2 smartphone, a new Surface Pro 8 and possibly a new Surface Book laptop are also expected during that same presentation.
