WhatsApp seems to be working on a feature to pause voice messages

WhatsApp is working on a feature to pause voice messages. Now users have to say one more voice message in one go or create a second voice message if they want to take a break. It is unknown when the feature will be released.

If users stop a voice message, WhatsApp will not send it immediately in the future, but will leave a record button on the screen if users want to continue recording, WABetaInfo reports. Sending is then done with the normal button to send messages.

The feature is not currently in betas for iOS and Android, but will likely be in the coming months. Then it should come out in the stable version. It is still unknown if and when exactly that will happen. WABetaInfo got an early version working and shows a demonstration of it. WhatsApp and parent company Facebook have not responded to the appearance of the information.
