The Flemish Radio and Television Broadcasting Organization has made its VRT NU video platform available on Apple TV. At the end of last year, VRT NU already came to Android and TV set-top boxes. A version for Samsung TV will follow shortly.
VRT NOW for Apple’s tvOS can be found from Monday on the App Store. With the app, users can watch the news live or postponed to a ‘wide range’ of VRT programs. Since December last year, the video platform has been available for Android and various TV set-top boxes.
The VRT reports that the version for Samsung TV will follow ‘soon’. When it is out, owners of recent Samsung TVs can download the VRT NU app on those televisions via the download store. Whether an app will follow for other platforms, such as LG’s webOS, is not yet known.
