Wolf & Pigs: Out for Vengeance, a VR action game loosely based on the fairy tale of the wolf and the three little pigs, will be released on Steam on May 13. Players take on the pigs as a heavily armed big bad wolf.

In the vr game, the Pig Brothers gang has taken over the world. The Big Bad Wolf is portrayed as evil by the media, but that happens under the influence of the piglet gang. Players take on the role of the last remaining wolf and must rid the world of the piglets. The wolf makes use of arm prostheses with an arsenal of weapons.

The game combines platforming elements with shooting. Players navigate through the levels with a grappling hook and have four weapons at their disposal. The SteamVR version of the game works with the Valve Index, Oculus Rift and HTC Vive. The game can be played sitting, standing or with roomscale tracking. Wolf & Pigs will be available on Steam on May 13 for $20.

The game is also coming to the PlayStation VR platform and to the VR stores of Oculus and HTC Vive, but when is not yet known. The South Korean VisualLight is the developer and publisher of Wolf & Pigs.
