TP-Link presented various WiFi routers as part of the CES trade fair. For example, the manufacturer comes with a new Deco line of mesh network routers and introduces a mu-mimo WiFi router.

For example, TP-Link comes with the Deco M5 router, which should be able to create a mesh WiFi network. The company does not disclose the maximum number of devices supported. The M5 is also capable of functioning on its own. The router is also available in a Powerline variant called M5 Plus, which, in addition to Wi-Fi capabilities, can also establish a connection via the power network in the house.

In addition, the Chinese manufacturer comes with another router and an ac2600-range extender. The router is an ac2300-mu-mimo model with wave 2 support, which, according to TP-Link, can communicate with multiple devices on different bands. In addition, users can prioritize network traffic from, for example, games or streams.

TP-Link is one of several manufacturers to announce a router for mesh Wi-Fi networks at CES. Other manufacturers include Asus, Linksys and D-Link. TP-Link has not disclosed further details on pricing or availability of the announced products.
