Download YamiPod 1.0 RC2

The second release candidate of the 1.0 branch can be released on the YamiPod site. This new version can be downloaded for Windows, Linux and Mac OS X, and comes with improved compatibility with iTunes 7. In addition, RC2 for Mac OS X is compiled as a Universal Binary, meaning YamiPod can now run as a native application on both PowerPC and Intel systems. YamiPod allows you to manage an Apple iPod on a Windows, Linux or MacOS X computer. This includes copying mp3 and aac files to and from the iPod, removing duplicate audio files and importing playlists. The full YamiPod 1.0 RC2 release notes are as follows:

Mac users will be happy to know that YamiPod is finally a Universal Binary application, which means it will run much faster on the new intel macs.

Before officially releasing 1.0 I ask you all to use this version a bit to see if it doesn’t introduced some strange new bug as it was compiled with the latest version of REALBasic.
