Dunes MultiMedia has released version 8.6.0.0 of WinNc. This file manager is, as the name suggests, a clone of the time-honored Norton Commander. It can be used as an alternative to Windows Explorer and has to compete with programs like Total Commander, Altap Salamander and Directory Opus. A license now costs three tens with the spring discount. The following improvements have been made in this release:

• File Dialog interception (Alt-Shift-F5) to retrieve WinNc folders
• Fixed paste issue in directory editor
• Fixed multiple instance issue in 64-bit
• Fixed license issue on slow or unstable connections.
