Download VLC Media Player 0.8.6 Test1
The first public beta version of VLC Media Player 0.8.6 was released on the download server a few days ago and can be downloaded from this server be downloaded for Linux, Mac OS X and Windows, among others. VLC Media Player is an open source media player that can be used on a wide variety of operating systems. The player is able to play a large number of media formats without additional codecs, including MPEG1, MPEG2, VCD and various streaming protocols. test1 tests the new features of the 0.8.6 branch, including native support for WMV3 and VC-1, improved H.264 support, and improvements to the Mozilla and ActiveX plugins.
