RightMark has a new version of 3DSound in the form of 1.20 released† The update is via this link down and weighs about 1.82 megabytes. 3DSound tests the existing sound hardware in combination with DirectSound and EAX. In addition, the processor is also tested by means of software buffers. The changelog of the 1.20 release can be read below:
functionality was considerably extended: all main features of ЕАХ4 Advanced HD were added – Environment filtering (Obstruction, Occlusion, Exclusion), Environment Reflections, Environment Panning, Multi-environments, Environment Morfing;
some new test samples were added: voice, music, footsteps, gunfire;
User’s Manual was updated by descriptions of all new features;
CPU Utilization test is more handle now: results is shown just after test finishing, XML log files is opened in Data Analyzer by double clicking;[break]Just click for an enlargement.
