Version 0.14 of PicoTorrent has been released. PicoTorrent is a relative new player in the bittorrent market. The program is written in C++ 14 and uses libtorrent like many other clients. PicoTorrent claims to be modern, fast and easy to use. Despite the core being cross-platform, the program is currently only available for Windows. Finally, PicoTorrent 0.14 is here! It’s been a long time since the last release, almost ten months, but I think the wait has been worth it.
This version of PicoTorrent is rebuilt on top of wxWidgets which is a cross-platform GUI library. It uses native controls on each platform, and will allow us to advance towards our cross-platform goal. PicoTorrent is still tiny, and has lots of performance.
