The folks behind phpBB have a new version of the forum software on their forum announced† This is a critical update in the form of version 2.0.11, which implements a number of security bug fixes. phpBB 2.0.11 is a free to use forum that includes: the GPL license is made available. The forum software is one of the most widely used open source forums. The software uses PHP and MySQL to store, save and retrieve messages.
