Software Update: PCSXBox 1.00

Spread the love

On the site of cdfreaks.com we are informed about the fact that from now on it is possible to play games from the Playstation on the Xbox. This is possible because PCSX, a playstation emulator, has been ported to the Xbox. The following can be found on cfreaks.com:

zwieber used our news submit to tell us that thanks to a person nicked Xport it is now possible to play Playstation games on your XBox. Xport has ported the Playstation Emulation software PCSX to run on the XBox, enabling you to run games from images stored on the Xbox hard disk or from a CD-R(W)/DVDR(W). The software seems to run pretty well according to user reports, altough one should not expect to run all games.

More information can be found on this thread on the XBox Scene forums. Downloading the software seems to be a hassle, so read the sites mentioned in the thread very well.[break]The download is no longer directly listed on a website, so unfortunately we cannot provide a direct link. It is possible to look up the #xbins channel via IRC on an EFNET server, more information will be released there on how to obtain this piece of software.
