Opera Software has made another small update to her browser. At the moment the download section at Opera Software is somewhat overloaded, but the English version 5.12 without Java can be downloaded at CHIP Online† Version 5.12 has the necessary bug fixes, especially in the email client, but has few new features:
- Enhanced pop-up window handling
- Java-enabled version includes the newest Runtime Environment, version 1.3.1
- Bug fixes, mainly in the email client
- Option to search Opera’s knowledge base directly, import Netscape e-mail and the possibility of sending a URL to Opera’s e-mail client
