Download Nullsoft Scriptable Install System 2.38

Spread the love

Last Saturday, version 2.38 of the Nullsoft Scriptable Install System was released. With the help of this program you can easily build a professional looking installation package. After creating a script, the program creates a compact installer, which can also include uninstall options, for example. Version 2.38 fixes, among other things, a problem that caused a so-called ‘stack pollution’ in Nsdialogs. In addition, the changelog shows the usual collection of changes and improvements:

  • Added support for NTFS mounts points on the directory page (bug #1946112)

  • Made log close when LogSet off is used (patch #1986692)
  • Minor documentation improvements (including bug #1990955)
  • MultiUser: Fixed MULTIUSER_INSTALLMODE_INSTDIR handling for the uninstaller

Contemporary UI

  • Document page leave callback function (bug #1964719)
  • Fixed MUI_FINISHPAGE_CANCEL_ENABLED
