Nokia released a new version of its PC Suite software on Wednesday, namely 7.0.7.0. This program allows you to make an infrared, bluetooth, serial or USB connection from a Nokia mobile phone to a Windows PC in order to transfer files such as photos, documents and music back and forth, view the calendar and sync email and organize contacts. In addition, it can also be used to send text messages, make a backup and, for a limited number of models, also update the phone’s firmware.

The changelog of version 7.0.7.0 is missing from the website, but after working with the program for a short time, a much improved contact manager and message center were discovered. The program now also shows the amount of free memory and battery strength in real time.
