Here is a list of changes for version 3.4:
- Removed a bug causing the volume setting not to be renewed when playing an internet stream.
- Removed a bug that caused Mp3CoolPlay-X to crash on Windows 98, ME and 2000 systems. The crash was triggered when the player or playlist window was moved while playing a internet stream.
- Added full title showing to the playlist, the full title will popup when the mouse is over a truncated title for about 1 second.
- Changed the Playlist font to a smaller type, making titles better fit in the playlist window.
- Now the full song title will also be shown in the Mp3CoolPlay-X taskbar button when caption scrolling is disabled.

- Optimized playlist resizing, it can also be sized much bigger now.
- Removed the ‘Add All’ button from the file add dialog, it’s replaced by the ‘Recurse’ button.
- Added icon support to the file list box contained in the ‘File add’ dialog, made it also load a complete dir in a single click.
- Now when a song is removed, it’s time (when added to the list) will also be removed from the total time display.
- Removed the UPX compression used on the main executable, this because it caused some stability problems.
- Many, many other small bugs removed.
