The Mozilla Thunderbird e-mail program can be used, among other things, for reading and sending e-mail, reading and posting to newsgroups and reading RSS feeds. As for additional features, Thunderbird is equipped with a junk mail filter, a spell checker, the ability to tag messages and a search function. Furthermore, it is possible to expand the program via addons. The development team has released a new version, version number 2.0.0.6, which fixes two vulnerabilities. The now infamous ‘cross-browser bug’ should be a thing of the past. The list of customizations looks like this:
