Anyone who often carries a laptop around will recognize the problem: having Windows switch between two networks is often much more complicated than necessary. At least that’s what the makers of Mobile Net Switch thought. With Mobile Net Switch, you can easily switch between multiple networks through a profile-based system.
Of course, improvements are still being made to the program, as evidenced by the release of version 1.97 that took place yesterday; quite a few things have been changed:
- Support for multiple Default Gateways added (separate entries by ‘;’)
- Support for multiple DNS Suffix entries added (separate entries by ‘;’)
- Enhanced IP Addressing option. Included error description reporting
- Bypass proxy server for local addresses option added
- Fixed several import and export settings issues
- Greatly enhanced the Proxy Server configuration option. Mobile Net Switch now incorporates technology which allows it to instantly switch proxy settings, without having to restart the Internet Explorer.
