Download Microsoft Office 2004 for Mac 11.3.1

Microsoft has yet another update ready for its Office 2004 package on the Mac OS X platform. The package contains the word processor Word, the spreadsheet Excel, the presentation program PowerPoint and the personal information manager Entourage, as well as a large number of wizards and tools to make processing texts, images and sounds easier. The version number has arrived at 11.3.1 and contains a number of improvements as the following announcement informs us:

This update contains several updates to enhance security and stability, including fixes for vulnerabilities that an attacker can use to overwrite the contents of your computer’s memory with malicious code.[break]Update 14:15:
Apparently the update was accidentally released by the Microsoft Security Response Team as can be read at this page. The update mentioned here can therefore no longer be obtained via Mircosoft.
