The developers of KDE, short for K Desktop Environment, have announced the release of version 3.3 beta 2, also known as “College”. KDE is an open source desktop environment for Unix-like platforms. What exactly has changed in this release is not known, but it is stated that mainly bugs have been squashed in this version.
