On Wednesday, version 1.15 beta of JavaRa was released. This program is intended to clean up old versions of Java and the Java Runtime Environment (JRE). Sun, the publisher of Java, regularly releases new versions of Java that add new features and fix bugs and security vulnerabilities. However, during the update, the old versions are not removed and over time these files can take up quite a lot of space. JavaRa not only removes old files, but also cleans the registry. In addition, the program can check whether the latest version of JRE is on the computer. This release fixes the following two issues:
Fixed in JavaRa 1.15 beta:
- JavaRa command line issue
- Small bug causing JavaRa to crash if no Java executable was found.
