Mario Diana has posted version 0.7 of iTmsBackup on Sourceforge. With this program, it is possible to backup audio files purchased from the iTunes Music Store on a Mac to another location on the hard drive or external media. With iTunes, Apple’s own software, this can only be done on CD. The changelog of the last two versions shows the following changes:
iTmsBackup, beta 0.7 changes:
- A custom icon for the application has been added. Error messages have been rewritten to more closely adhere to Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines. Support has been added for localization.
iTmsBackup, beta 0.6 changes:
- Additional error handling and error messages have been added. Moreover, the online help has been edited to provide more explanation to the end user.
