Download HyperSnap-DX 6.12.01
There are several programs to capture the things you see on your screen to a graphic file, the so-called screen grabbing. One of the oldest programs that can do that is HyperSnap-DX from Hyperionics, and they released version 6.12.01 yesterday. HyperSnap-DX can take screenshots of screens, windows or buttons in the normal desktop environment, as well as in DirectX, Voodoo and Glide environments. There is also an auto-scroll function with which screenshots can be made of things that are larger than fits on the screen, for example of a web page. New in this release is support for Office 2007 and the RTM versions of Windows Vista, among others. The full changelog for this release is as follows:
Changes in HyperSnap 6.12.01:
- Auto-scroll updated to work with Office 2007 programs (Word and Excel)
- TextSnap updated to work with Vista RTM releases, including 64-bit version of Vista
- File/Upload to FTP Server… function has a new option – “Copy link text to clipboard…”. When selected, you may define a text, including macros like file name and path, image width and height etc., which will be copied to clipboard upon successful FTP upload, ready for pasting into HTML editors.
- %compname% added to HyperSnap macros (for text and stamp editing, and printing header and footer). If you enter %compname% into these boxes, it will be expanded into the current computer name.
