Bandisoft has released version 5.36 of HoneyView, a free image viewing program. It’s small, fast, and doesn’t contain any adware or spyware. Support is available for the most common image formats. Furthermore, it can show exif and gps information if available and can also display the images as a slideshow. In addition, minor edits can be performed, such as rotate, crop, and resize. The following changes and improvements have been made in this release:

Changes in version 5.36:

  • Fixed some security vulnerabilities
  • Fixed a bug that the “Add Padding” feature ignores the selected color for the padding
  • Improved how the program selects a color for its title bar’s caption when the color of the title bar changes
  • Fixed a bug that the “Sort By” feature does not work correctly on Windows Vista and Windows 7 under certain conditions
  • Added a feature applying ICC profiles to PSD files
  • Improved the support for the DDS format
  • Other modifications
