Limewire, no stranger to the Meuktracker, is a file sharing program written in Java for Gnutella and Bittorrent networks. After Limewire’s distributor considered adding code to prevent copyrighted material in September 2005, a group of users started working with the source code. The result was a so-called fork named Frostwire. While Limewire comes in a free and a paid version with more options, Frostwire is only available in one version. This contains all the options that are also in Limewire Pro and also has the option to chat. Version 4.17.0 was released yesterday and comes with the following changes and improvements:
