Software Update: FreeFileSync 11.27

Version 11.27 of FreeFileSync has been released. This open source program can back up or synchronize content from two different locations. It’s available for Windows, Linux, and macOS, doesn’t rely on things like Java or a .NET Framework, and is lightweight to use. The Windows download includes separate 32bit and 64bit versions, and also offers the option to use it without installing it first. The following changes and improvements have been made in this release:

Changes in FreeFileSync version 11.27:

  • Fixed a “Some files will be synchronized as part of multiple base folders” false-negative
  • Fixed “Unexpected size of data stream” for Google Drive
  • Fixed crash when downloading empty file from Google Drive
  • RealTimeSync: fixed ffs_batch not accepted as valid configuration
  • Fixed top buttons vertical GUI layout
  • Fixed progress dialog font on Ubuntu MATE
  • Support cut/copy/paste for filter settings
  • Fixed free disk space calculation if target folder not yet created
