Bee NV News I read that a new update has been released for the program FRAPS, a framerate counter for Direct 3D. The following features have been added:
- Ability to choose which corner of the screen the counter is displayed in.
- New screen capture feature. Hit NUM LOCK during a game to have the current screen saved to disk as a BMP file. The bitmap filename will be the game’s name with a timestamp on it. This has only been tested running in 16 bit color mode, but should also work fine with 24bit/32bit. It will NOT produce a bitmap for games running in 8 bit (256 colors). If the game uses gamma adjustment to brighten the image, the output bitmap may appear darker than the original.
