DVDFab Software has released version 8.0.6.5 of DVDFab. DVDFab consists of several parts that can be used to rip, copy and convert movies from DVD or Blu-ray into a format that can be played on a portable device such as the PSP or the iPod, for example. The program can make a complete copy, but it is also possible to choose individual parts, for example only the main movie with a limited number of languages ​​and subtitles. The different parts of the program each have a own license. Those who do not need the Blu-ray functionality or who do not own a portable player do not have to pay for this functionality. Only the part to rip a disc, which can remove protection and region code at the same time, is free. Due to the holidays, the products are temporarily sold with a 25% discount. Since version 8.0.6.0 the following changes have been made:

DVDFab 8.0.6.5 Updated!

• New: Some minor changes and improvements.
• Fix: A compatibility problem with some anti-virus programs which prevents DVDFab to start.

Blu-ray Copy:

• New: Added support for new Java-based protection.
• New: Added support for interleaved H.264 when using Lightning-Recoding.
• New: Improved main title selection logic again.
• Fix: Fast forwarding problem on some new Blu-ray discs like Iron Man 2.
• Fix: VLC cannot play backup m2ts file when using Lightning-Recoding in certain cases.

Blu Ray Ripper:

• Fix: Wrong channel problem when converting LPCM/True-HD audio to MP4.

Blu-ray 3D Ripper:

• New: Added multi-thread H.264 MVC decoder, it can speed up the decoder up to 60%.
• New: Increased maximum encoding bitrate to 30Mbps.

Blu-ray to DVD Converter:

• New: Added 2:3 pulldown for NTSC 24fps Blu-ray disc.
• Fix: A/V sync problem on certain NTSC Blu-ray discs.

DVDFab 8.0.6.1 Updated!

• Fix: A fabcore.exe crash problem in certain cases.
