A number of programs have been developed to make a backup of your DVD movie. One makes the backup one to one for which you need a DVD burner, the other makes a backup by converting the DVD movie to an AVI format file. DVD Master Backup falls into this latter category, arriving at version number 0.2.5. The release notes look like this:

The “missing soundtrack” bug has been partially fixed.

We added more languages.

bugs:

DVD Master Backup don’t detect if you have the correct divx codec or sufficient disk space.

The non-encrypted vob’s can’t be ripped.
