Download Coretemp 0.99.1
Version 0.99.1 of Coretemp was released on Thursday. With this small and free program the processor of the computer can be monitored. Coretemp is able to display the temperature of the individual cores, something not many other programs can do. At the moment only the more modern processors are used supported, including AMD’s Phenom, Athlon64, and Turion64, and Intel’s Core and Core 2. The collected information is written in a log so that it can later be put into a graph, for example in Excel. Below you can see what has changed since version 0.99:

- Support latest AMD K8 CPUs.
- Support for Hyper-Threaded CPUs. Core Temp will only display the physical cores and average load on each core.

- GUI Adjustments of Temperature offset and G15 applet via the Settings window.
- Create a screenshot function. Access from “Options” menu or by F9 shortcut.
- Shortcut key for registry dump file: F7.
- Update registry dump output: APIC ID, CPU number, Core number, Thread number.
Change:
- Move all settings to the ini file out of the registry.
- Rename ini file to CoreTemp.ini.
- Temperature offset adjustment works for AMD CPUs as well.
- Atom Tj.Max adjusted for more accurate readings.
- Cleaned up code a little bit.
Fix:
- Layout when using up to 125% DPI.
- Layout problem and extra systemtray icons with Phenom.
- Potential crashes while saving a register dump file.
- Core Temp icon wasn’t showing in About box.
- Menu shortcut keys were not available for all menu items.
- A few old unknown bugs.
