A new version of CheckP3 can be found on the homepage of the Italian Andrea Marangoni. This versatile program can check email from an infinite number of accounts, connect to FTP and News servers, and perform a tracing ping. A full list of possibilities is on this one page to find. Version 5.1 was released a few days ago and the changelog shows the following changes:
Released 5.1, from 5.0:
- Solved a problem with Hotmail, that change something in their server, so checkp3 5.0 and earlier don’t work.
- Added the “New icon event” from version 4.0, that I forgot. (Some persons request these features).
- Now you can start checkp3 with a parameter like “checkp3.exe %HOME%test.ini” (environment added).
- Better test Lycos, seems to work well.
