Exactly one week after the release of the seventh beta build of Central Brain Identifier version 8.2, the successor was released today. This program is designed to identify the exact model and type of processor of an Amd equipped computer. CBId recognizes a wide variety of models and displays detailed information such as core name, revision and voltage, frequency, rating, cache size, and PowerNow technology used. In addition, it is also able to perform some tweaks regarding, for example, the L1 cache, the Clock Control Register, the memory timings and there is also the possibility to adjust the HyperTransport clock frequency. In this release, recognition has been added for the revision E6 and F2 of the mobile/low-power AMD64 processors:
