Download Caliber 0.9.34

Caliber is an open source and cross platform ebook management program. Among other things, it can look up all relevant information and cover images and convert ebooks to make them suitable for the various types of e-readers. It can also convert newspapers, magazines and news articles based on RSS feeds into e-book format, and books can be purchased from well-known web stores. A new version is released every Friday and in this release, among other things, the ability to convert docx documents has been added.

New Features

• Conversion of Microsoft Word documents (.docx files generated by Word 2007 or newer). DOCX files created with Microsoft Word 2007 or newer can now be converted by caliber. The converter has support for lists, tables, images, all types of text formatting, footnotes, endnotes and even dropcaps. A sample docx file showing the capabilities of the converter is available here. Note that this code is still very new, so there are more than likely a few bugs waiting to be squashed.
• Kobo driver: Support for the newly released firmware 2.6.1. Also remove empty shelves from the Aura HD home page when deleting books. Close tickets: 1187791
