Software Update: Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 1.1

Spread the love

Adobe today released a new version of Lightroom, updating the program to version number 1.1 and running on Windows Vista. Version 1.1 can be downloaded in its entirety for Mac OS X (23MB) and Windows (31MB) and can be tried out for thirty days after which you have to pay USD 299. Photoshop Lightroom is a so-called image manager with which digital photos can be edited, sorted and processed in various ways. For example, it is not only possible to organize photos per photo session, but also to attach keywords to photos and to search for certain terms to show the desired and/or relevant photos. It is also possible to make a slideshow and web album of a photo shoot via Lightroom.

Adobe has made many improvements in the new version of Lightroom. For example, it is possible to export part of your photo collection or to import a new photo session from, for example, the laptop to the computer where all your photos are stored. In addition, the noise reduction has been improved and Lightroom recognizes the raw photos from the latest digital cameras. A detailed overview of the changes made to Lightroom 1.1 can be found in pdf document:
