Samsung has shown the Galaxy Book Go 5G. The laptop is a derivative of the previously announced Galaxy Book Go, but has a 5G modem and a much more powerful processor. The price is unknown.

The Book Go 5G swaps the Snapdragon 7c soc of the Book Go for the much more powerful 8cx Gen 2, according to the product page. There will be a variant with 128GB of storage, at least with the American provider AT&T. It is not yet known whether there will also be a European version.

The specs are also similar to those of the Galaxy Book Go presented in June. The laptops have a 14″ screen with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. The battery has a capacity of 42.3Wh. Connections come in the form of two USB-C ports and a USB-A port, in addition to a microSD card reader and a 3.5mm jack.

The Book Go 5G weighs 1.38kg, measures 32.4×22.5cm and is 14.9mm thick. They are not the first Samsung laptops with a Snapdragon soc. Earlier, for example, the Galaxy Book S appeared with a Qualcomm soc, after which he also appeared with an Intel Lakefield processor.
