The Xiaomi phone should be released in the second half of the year, reports Chinese leaker Digital Chat Station. Digital Chat Station has often shown that it has correct information at an early stage, such as about the Snapdragon 865 from Qualcomm and the Mate X2 from Huawei.

The phone would have a battery of around 5000mAh; how long it takes to charge in total is unknown. The Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra, which can charge with 120W, comes out around 22 minutes. In addition to last year’s Xiaomi phone, the nubia Red Magic 6 Pro and Vivo iQOO 7 can also charge at 120W.

Charging with 200W would be a new step in the race to charge phones faster and faster. It is unknown how Xiaomi achieves the faster charging speed; this could be done by dividing the battery into more cells in order to be able to handle a higher voltage, for example. Most phones that now support fast charging have multi-cell batteries.
