Possible specifications of the upcoming OnePlus 10 Pro smartphone have appeared. The phone would get a Snapdragon 8 Gen1 chip from Qualcomm. The OnePlus 10 Pro must also have a screen with qhd + resolution.

91mobiles writes that the 6.7-inch display of the OnePlus 10 Pro will have a 120Hz refresh rate, just like the current OnePlus 9 Pro. The website does not report a panel type for the upcoming phone, but it is presumably again an AMOLED screen. further 8GB or 12GB Lpddr5 memory, 128GB or 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage and an IP68 certification for dust and water resistance, claims 91mobiles.

The Indian website also reports that OnePlus’ upcoming flagship will feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen1 soc. That will be the successor to the current Snapdragon 888-soc. Qualcomm confirmed earlier this week that it will simplify the naming of its Snapdragon chips. The company is switching to single-digit product names and a generation designation. The chip designer will hold a Tech Summit presentation on December 1 at midnight. The Snapdragon 8 Gen1 is expected to be officially unveiled then.

Well-known leaker OnLeaks previously published renders of the OnePlus 10 Pro, which showed a large camera island with three sensors and a flash. The phone should have a 48-megapixel primary camera, assisted by an ultra-wide-angle 50-megapixel sensor and an 8-megapixel telephoto camera. The selfie camera has a 32-megapixel resolution and is processed in a hole in the screen. Furthermore, the battery capacity would be 5000mAh. There were previously rumors that the OnePlus 10 Pro will support wired fast charging at 125W.

Earlier this month, it was also rumored that the OnePlus 10 series will be available first in China. That would happen around January or February. The phone would be released worldwide a few months later, presumably in March or April. This has not yet been officially confirmed, but OnePlus sister company OPPO uses a similar release strategy for its smartphones.
