Apple is said to be announcing the rumored iPhone 6s at its own event likely to be held on September 9. The company would also like to announce new iPads, just like a new version of the Apple TV.

The rumors come from Buzzfeed, which cites sources familiar with Apple’s plans. According to these sources, Apple is targeting an announcement the week of September 7, with September 9 being the most likely date for the event. That would mean that the new iPhone will be announced on the same day as last year. Apple has been known to make announcements often at the same time of year.

During the event, for which the invitations have not yet been sent, the iPhone 6s, among other things, must be announced. The new smartphone would have Force Touch, a technique that measures how hard the user presses. Furthermore, there would be support for 4g+ with the chip supporting a theoretical maximum speed of 300Mbit/s. By the way, all the rumors point to changes being made only on the inside; so the appearance seems to remain the same as the iPhone 6.

Apple is also said to be planning to announce new iPads. Rumors often mention a larger model, with a screen diagonal of 12.9″. Buzzfeed could not say whether it will make an appearance during the announcement event. Finally, there should be a new Apple TV, which according to previous rumors would have an A8- chip and an App Store on board.
