German tech website WinFuture has shared renders and details of Garmin’s upcoming smartwatches. The company would release an Epix Gen2 smartwatch and new fēnix models, among other things. It is unknown when the watches will be released.

According to WinFuture, Garmin comes with a new version of its Epix watch, which came out seven years ago. It would be a ‘modernized’ version, with a larger screen than the original Epix. The German tech website refers to a housing made of stainless steel and reinforced plastic. The Epix Gen2 is water resistant to a depth of 100 meters. The watch also gets GPS support and various health functions, including a blood oxygen meter.

Garmin is also coming with three new models in the fēnix series, according to WinFuture. WinFuture mentions a Garmin fēnix 7, fēnix 7S and fēnix 7X. These smartwatches also get a new design with a stainless steel and plastic housing. Few specifications are known about these smartwatch models. Starting from previous generations, the fēnix 7S will be the smallest model, the fēnix 7 will have a more medium size and the fēnix 7X will be the variant with the largest housing.

Garmin also comes with an Instinct 2 and a Garmin Instinct 2S. Those two smartwatches would be more compact, offer GPS support and have an e-ink screen. The smartwatches should also offer tracking functions, such as heart rate measurement and sleep tracking.

A new Garmin Venu 2 Plus must also have an OLED screen and have an extra button compared to the current model. It is not yet known what this extra button is for. The company is also coming with Vivomove 3, Vivomove Sport and Approach S12 color variants, according to WinFuture. There are no release dates and suggested retail prices for Garmin’s upcoming smartwatches. The CES will be held in January; Garmin may announce its new watches at that event.
